If you love a good German meal then you want to make plans to head to Saint Francis Catholic Church on Sunday, March 8th for their annual German Sausage Festival.

These folks have been serving up German Sausage for 57 years.  They will be preparing over 4,000 pounds of German Sausage.  They will be grilling it up, and even some of that sausage will be mesquite smoked.    They will be preparing over 750 pounds of potatoes that they will turn into some amazing mashed potatoes.   And, of course, we can't forget the sauerkraut.

WHERE: St. Francis Parish Hall - 10 miles east of Amarillo off HWY 60, 1 mile east of Tyson

If you can't get enough sausage you can buy fresh uncooked sausage for $4.50 per lb, or cooked sausage for $6 per lb.
