HS Gym Teacher Charged In TWO Student Sex Scandals In One Week

A high school teacher has not only been charged once but twice with third-degree criminal sexual act of a child.

Joy Morsi a 39-year-old gym teacher at Grover Cleveland High School in Queens, was taken into police custody on Wednesday. Officials said that both students involved in the investigation were 16 years old.

According to reports, Morsi is married and has four children of her own. According to police reports, in June 2013, Morsi asked a student if he needed help losing weight, she then brought him into a closet in the gym and showed him her breasts.

Police allege their relationship lasted for about a year and the two had sexual encounters many times in and outside of school grounds. The relationship came to an end a couple weeks ago after the boy asked a female student to the prom.

Authorities said there was a second incident that also involved a 16-year-old boy and occurred inside the school on May 31. The only person who showed up to court to support her was her husband, who also is a teacher. If convicted, Morsi can receive up to four years in prison.
