Shawshank Redemption Fans! Our Oak Tree From The Movie Is About To Become A Dresser!
Remember this tree from the movie Shawshank Redemption? I do, quite well! You see this tree towards the end of the movie. It’s where Andy Dufresne (played by Tim Robbins) buried the money that Ellis Boyd ‘Red’ Redding (played by Morgan Freeman) picked up after making parole.
Anyways moving on, the tree is almost split in half due to a wind storm that swept through the area in Ohio.

According to MansfieldNewsJournal.com, the owners of the property have not announced if they plan to remove the tree.
Not that I’m a tree hugging hippie or anything, but this tree is a movie star if you ask me! It’s like Morgan or Tim getting critically injured. If you pray tonight, say a small prayer for this tree!
