Shocking – Oklahoma Jr. High Student Commits Suicide On Campus

Wow this is shocking and sad all at once. A student at Stillwater Junior High took his own life while at school, just before class this morning.
A school resource officer heard the gun-shot just before 8am this morning, and the student was found dead in the hallway.
The junior high school and a nearby elementary school were locked down and classes canceled for the day, authorities said. The name of the student was not released, pending notification of next of kin.
Stillwater Junior High sent a statement to parents saying there had been a “single shooting incident” at the school and that staff and students — eighth and ninth graders — had been moved to a safe location. Parents were told to pick up their children at a nearby shopping center.
Another eighth grade student reported to the local news paper that he had witnessed the shooting. Saying he “saw him on the ground, there was blood everywhere”.
Very sad news and just an upsetting incident. This will be a very rough situation for the parents, and the entire school body.
