Suge Knight Hit And Run On Movie Set Victim Pronounced Dead [UPDATE]

Suge Knight arrested on murder charges in hit and run case.

*around 4:15 am PT

Reports are saying that police have formally arrested Knight on murder charges and have set his bail at $2 Million.

Sources say that a key factor in his charges was a statements from a witnesses.  The witnesses claim that Suge threw his car in reverse once, drove forward and then reversed again.  They think he meant to hit one of the people he was arguing with.

The two other men that were hit, including Cle 'Bone' Sloan, are in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Suge turned himself in for questioning.

Police found Suge's truck abandoned in Westwood.

On a movie set being filmed in Compton today, a person was killed after a hit and run. Suge Kinght arrived on set when security told Suge to leave and that's when a fight broke out between two men and Suge Knight.

The fight was between Suge and Cle "Bone" Sloan, an actor who has appeared in "Training Day" and "End of Watch."  It turned physical when his friend Terry Carter, Suge's friend, decided to step in.

Suge got back into his car and did not know his friend, who rode with Suge, was standing near the rear of his car. Suge put his car in reverse and ran over Carter. Paramedics arrived on scene and rushed Carter to the hospital where he later on died.

Suge Knight fled the scene and Southern California Law Enforcement are looking for him. Two other people on set were also hit and rushed to the hospital, as well. It's rumored that Ice Cube and Dr. Dre were on also on the scene where the movie is being produced.

Even though it is clear Suge did not mean to run over his friend, in California and most states, if someone in the process of committing a felony accidentally kills someone in the process, then he or she can be charged with murder.

Suge Knight is now wanted by authorities for questioning and said to be armed and dangerous.
