Suspicious Death At Economy Inn Motel In Amarillo

Amarillo Police Special Crimes Unit is investigating what is being called a "suspicious death" that took place at a local motel in Amarillo. The body of a deceased female was found in a room at Economy Inn Motel at 6011 West Amarillo Blvd.

Officials report the circumstances surrounding her death were suspicious, however, her autopsy revealed no evidence of a homicide.

The cause of death is pending a toxicology report.  The deceased female was identified as Toni Lyn Salomon, age 51.
