As if her Grammys, Brit Awards and countless other accolades weren’t enough confirmation of her superstar status, Adele now has another honor to her name: a cover by Celine Dion.

She may not move too many magazines, but Adele can sure as heck move units. The British powerhouse just passed 9 million U.S. sales of her sophomore smash, ’21.’

The music world may adore Adele, but the fashion one? Not quite so much. The ‘Rumor Has It’ songstress actually had one of the worst-selling Vogue covers ever.

Let’s get one thing straight regarding Adele. She does not want to be a celebrity. She has no interest in pop stardom. She just wants to sing.

Cleveland rapper Machine Gun Kelly has released a video for ‘Chasing Pavements,’ a track built around the Adele tune of the same name. The simple clip shows MGK sitting in a window seat of an airplane rapping his lyrics over Adele’s sped-up chorus.

Rihanna sent her pal Adele a “Cake! Cake! Cake!” for her birthday, to borrow a lyric from RiRi’s famously remixed song ‘Birthday Cake.’ But it wasn’t just a plain ol’ slab of moist and delicious baked goodness slathered in sugary sweet icing! It was shaped like a pair of boobs.

These days, if anyone breaks any kind of musical record, you can assume it’s Adele or Rihanna. This time, the former took a crown from the King of Pop. The ‘Someone Like You’ singer bested the iconic Michael Jackson and his LP ’Thriller’ in the top 10 best-selling albums ever in her native U.K.

Adele, LMFAO and Rihanna lead the nominations for the 2012 Billboard Awards, which take place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand and will be broadcast live Sunday May 20 at 8 PM ET on ABC.

So much for Adele‘s plans to take some time off. The singer said that while her next album is still a couple years away, she wants to have a new song out before the end of 2012.

The bar on adorable Adele covers has just been raised. Ten-year-old Angie and 13-year-old Tara, meet 2-year-old Makena, a toddler who may be the youngest (and cutest) performer on YouTube to tackle Adele’s heartbreak ballad ‘Someone Like You.’

Adele is fully recovered from her throat surgery, and it inspired her to get healthier in other areas of her life, too — not just her voice. The Sun is reporting that the ‘Rumour Has It’ singer is making a conscious effort to get fit.
