I will admit when we were in a meeting recently here a work this term came up. Crunchy Granola Mom's. Never heard that in my life. So of course I was intrigued. I needed to find out what it is. Was I considered to be one? Is my daughter, who is a new mom, one?

A mom who was breastfeeding her four-month-old baby while waiting to see a doctor at Lubbock's University Medical Center (Texas) was escorted out by security for refusing to stop, leave or cover up.

Children of the ’70s and ’80s may remember that breastfeeding used to be featured on ‘Sesame Street,’ as a way of educating kids about the natural bodily function. Apparently that practice has stopped, much to the dismay of the more than 5000 people who have signed a petition to “Bring Breastfeeding Back To Sesame Street.”
