A few years ago a couple of families got together and opened up a Christmas light tour just outside of Amarillo. Over 400,000 lights (maybe more) to over this piece of land and created a Christmas Wonderland.

Once or twice in a lifetime you have to have a real tree in your home for Christmas.  There's something magical about having that amazing tree standing in your home, holding all your precious ornaments.  The perfect place to get that tree is Troop 80 Treeland.

I am a part of their Balance Rewards program. I shop at Walgreen's A LOT! I feel now that it may not be as frequent. I collect my points and save them.

One of the best parts of the holiday season in Amarillo is Center City's Electric Light Parade. A parade that lights up downtown Amarillo. Thousands of people descend on downtown to revel in the craftiness of each float.

Join us along with the Salvation Army in celebrating Christmas and making Christmas great for those in Amarillo.

Don't get me wrong, Christmas is a wonderful holiday. I just can't take all the sappy love stories that aren't really leaving viewers with a positive message.

I am one of those get your Christmas shopping done early type people. I usually start the last week of October and I'm done by the end of November. Which nothing has changed. I'm moving right along with those gift purchases, however this morning I realized something that made me very sad.

The holidays are full of fun events for the entire family and the Amarillo Zoo invites you out to celebrate this season with them and their animal friends. ZOOLights is back!

Christmas is that fun time of year full of fun and amazing celebrations. We live in a great place where we get to celebrate Christmas with so many great activities. Here's another great event happening to celebrate the season. Canyon has a great weekend full of fun that you'll want to take the family.

It's a time honored tradition at the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum. It's their annual Christmas Open House. A perfect weekend to enjoy the holiday fun with the family.

Every time the holidays roll around, people come together to make sure the less fortunate have presents under the tree. It is astonishing how many children in the Amarillo area might go with out Christmas. It should't be that way. That's why you need to get your motorcycle and get ready to help a great cause.

A fun Christmas tradition returns this year. A fun event to find yourself a tree you don't even have to decorate. The Panhandle Community Services annual Festival of Trees is back.
