Coffee Memorial’s life-saving stock of blood has reached a less-than-one-day supply. Typically, Coffee Memorial maintains a three- to five-day supply for local hospitals.

Thursday, April 30, Coffee Memorial Blood Center will team up with BurgerFi for a blood drive to help prevent a blood shortage.

According to a press release, Coffee Memorial usually has a three-to-five-day supply on hand for local hospitals. Levels have dwindled to less than one day.

It's hard to fathom yourself or a loved one in a lifesaving situation. You never know when you're in need of blood to save your life.
