3 weeks ago Yes if I'm reading this correctly, a new bill was approved by the Texas House of Representatives and sent to the Senate that will cut the taxes on chewing tobacco and raise the price of smaller brand cigarettes. By "smaller brand", I mean not some "big tobacco" company like Marlboro for example.

4 weeks ago There's been tons of videos posted on Youtube about a civilian cargo plane crash at Bagram Air Field north of Kabul in Afghanistan that has killed seven (7) people. It's such a clear video and so perfectly filmed, you would almost think it's fake, but I don't think there's anything fake about this! According to MSN, it turns out to have been a US cargo plane! April 22, 2013 On Friday afternoon, an 18 wheeler towing another truck containing hazardous materials was making it's way through Hemphill County, just north east of Amarillo, when both the truck towing and the truck being towed over-turned and spilled out the hazardous material it being carried. The hazard material spill was cleaned up and contained by an Amarillo Environmental company but the condition of the driver is currently unknown.

Okay official news is finally coming in about the girl that jumped from the Rockwell overpass today on I-27.
Randall County Sheriff's Department officials say it was not a 17 year old, but a 15 year old girl that jumped off the bridge at I-27 and Rockwell road. She hit the northbound lanes. She was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries by Life Star. No vehicles hit her THANK GOD! Officials say that the oncoming traffic saw her, slowed down, and were able to miss her.

Sad news here, but if you were stuck in traffic on I-27 today around 5:00pm, the reason is because a 17 year old girl jumped off the bridge/overpass of Rockwell on I-27.
April 16, 2013 It's finally happening, we're now going from sending machines to Mars, to sending human beings on a trip to the red planet in the first ever manned mission to Mars! The conditions of the trip through space wont exactly be comfortable, it'll be worse than riding on a plane that's going through terrible turbulence while stuck between 2 fat and sweating guys that are crying because they hate flying and the staff isn't serving drinks so you have to be coherent during the entire thing. Still, applicants to be on the 1st manned mission to mars are flooding in to be on the ship that makes history.
April 15, 2013 More details are coming in about the 2 explosions that shook the finish line of the Boston Marathon around 2:45pm today and the news is sad. It's been confirmed by police that at least 2 people died in the explosions and 22 people suffered injuries. The rumor of the 3rd explosive device was confirmed and it has been diffused.
