Six Flags Texas Giant has been closed, since Rosa Ayala-Goana died in July from falling out the ride over 75 feet in the air. Rosa's family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Six Flags, the trial is still being disputed in court.

After a massive amount of tornadoes touched down in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, there were many rumors about Six Flags Over Texas being in pretty bad shape.  Well the rumors are just that, rumors.  Rest assured that Six Flags DID NOT sustain any tornado damage and is good to go for the season opener, Friday, April 6th, 2012.
