Amarillo Special Crimes Unit is investigating a death that comes across as very suspicious.  A deceased man was found in a drainage culvert at the 2100 block of I-40E.  There is no real indication that this was a homicide, but the suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death has brought Special Crimes in to assist the investigation.

5 people have already been taken into custody in the case of Lance Hooser, and Amarillo Police made an additional arrest today in the homicide.  A warrant was issued for Donna Jackson Colson, a 50 year old Amarillo woman accused of tampering with evidence.  The most shocking homicide story out of Amarillo in 2013 continues to be investigated by the Special Crimes Unit.

Results from the preliminary autopsy of the Monday evening homicide of Lance Hooser indicate he died from a gunshot wound to the upper body.  Special Crimes Unit of Potter and Randall counties asks for any help possible in the homicide.

Amarillo Police Special Crimes Unit implores you, help locate the pickup truck you see in the photo.  This truck was spotted in Amarillo near the scene of the homicide of Alfredo Ruben Cueto.  The autopsy reveals that Alfredo died from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

On Sunday, July 28th, Amarillo police were dispatched to a shots fired call.  Upon arrival, they found 1 man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the upper body.  He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
