Wienerschnitzel

When we last saw TJ Westbrook he was just informed that he was going to have his whole full franchise from Weinerschnitzel after being on Undercover Boss. He and his girlfriend, Ronde, were running the location at 600 E Amarillo Blvd.

You learn something new every day. Or maybe it's really you are reminded of something you once knew. Case in point the Wienerschnitzel on the Boulevard had closed down. When exactly I am not sure. A few months ago.

A hot dog is what I am meaning. Once we had five Wienerschnitzel. I love their dogs. I really do. We are now taking a hit. We have only four.

Living in Amarillo has been great. I really have been here longer than in my hometown of Chicago. I moved her in 1986 so yeah I am a Texan now. The food here is great of course. So many great places to eat. So many great recipes.

Every year, we celebrate a major national holiday on July 25th. No, it's not Christmas in July, it's National Chili Dog Day!

Hot Dogs for 56¢ tomorrow at Wienerschnitzel, they are celebrating 56 years of service. July 11th all day you can go get the family dinner on a very nice price!  Four locations here in the city on the  Amarillo Blvd., Ross St., Bell St., and Western St.
