I know your thinking I'm blowing smoke right now, but I'm actually not!  There's a new study that shows Texas gas prices actually declining for 2 weeks straight.

Pro News 7 reports that a new survey from AAA Texas shows that the state wide average price per gallon has went down 3 cents and is down to $3.80 a gallon.

Connect Amarillo

The association says gas prices nationwide are down 2 cents, to reach $3.89 per gallon.

Locally, we are seeing a continuous drop in prices.  But is it a good or bad sign?

I think it's like the calm before the storm.  We'll see some relatively cheaper gas for the rest of the month, and then once May comes and everybody starts making travel plans, we'll see a huge spike!  Just speculation there folks!

In Amarillo, we are seeing prices as low as $3.43 a gallon.

According to Texas Gas Prices we actually have a few places boasting that price.

United Express at Tascosa & Gem Lake is $3.43.

Murphy's USA also at Tascosa & Gem Lake is $3.43.

Phillips 66 on the same corner is also $3.46.

Sam's Club is $3.51.
