Thanksgiving Recipes Day 3: Green Bean Casserole
As we inch closer to November 22nd, it seems that time is speeding up. I want to help you buy sharing some good Thanksgiving recipes to serve. Today, green bean casserole!
Green bean casserole is always a favorite at holidays, pot lucks, or even Sunday dinner. With all the other cooking and baking you have going on, it's nice to find a simple recipe. Here is a great recipe, it's simple but delicious!
Ingredients
2 cans (14.5 oz each) Green Giant® French-style green beans, drained
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup of milk
1 can (2.8 oz) French-fried onions
Directions
Heat oven to 350°F. In 1 1/2-quart casserole or glass baking dish, mix green beans, soup and milk.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes, topping with onions during last 5 minutes of baking, until bubbly.
This will be a sure favorite with little work. I do have a tip for you, do your shopping in advance. If you wait too long, all the ingredients you need, even for simple recipes, will be gone. Enjoy!
