As we count down the day until Thanksgiving, my mind is flooded with delicious food ideas that I could share.  One of my favorite things of all time is sweets.  So here is a dessert recipe for a Cool Whip Jello pie.

At Thanksgiving I almost feel like a kid again.  The desserts are the first thing to catch my eye.  When everyone is piling up on turkey and dressing, I'm piling up on pies and cakes.

One of my all time favorites is the cool whip jello pie.  It is the simplest recipes but has such a wonderful taste.  I'm not sure if I like the pie more or the memories I have making them, but either way I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Ingredients

2/3 c. boiling water
1 pkg. Jello (4 serving size)-make sure it's your favorite flavor :)
1/2 c. water cold (ice cubes)
1-8 oz. Cool Whip
1 graham cracker crust (6 oz)

Directions

Stir boiling water with Jello until dissolved. Add 1/2 cup cold water or ice cubes, then stir in Cool Whip until smooth. Refrigerate 10 minutes. Spoon on crust and wait 4 hours, or overnight until until firm.

That's it.  Pretty simple, huh?  Try it and I'm sure it will be a huge hit.  Enjoy!
