Nobody likes putting their dirty laundry out there, but some people are required by law to do so.  Like sex offenders, they're supposed to register every 90 days due to the conviction.  This includes when they relocate, like this man who recently moved to Amarillo, but didn't register.  A routine traffic stop led to him being arrested.

"It was learned that the driver was a registered sex offender last residing in San Angelo, TX. Due to his conviction out of Oklahoma; Martinez is required to register every 90 days. As part of his registration duties, Martinez is required to give 7 days’ notice to his current law enforcement agency (San Angelo, TX) that he is moving.  He is also required to notify his new destination agency (Law Enforcement) within 7 days of arriving in his new town."

Martinez has been living in Amarillo over a month and didn't notify APD as required. Martinez last contacted San Angelo PD in July of 2014.

He was arrested for Sex Offenders Duty to register for life and booked into the Potter County Correction Center on a 2nd degree felony.
