Before there were home gaming systems like Nintendo, Sega, Playstation, and X-Box, you had to the arcade to play your favorite video games.

I remember on Fridays my parents would take me and my brother to the local bowling alley. They were in a bowling league. So to keep my brother and I busy they gave us each 5 dollars to play in the arcade. They would not give us any more than that. So if we burned through it too quickly, we had to sit and watch them bowl. That sucked.So my brother and I would find games we were good at and play them non-stop. The better we were at that game, the longer our quarters lasted.

One of my favorite games was Rampage. It was a three player game. You could be George the monkey, Lizzie the lizard or Ralph the wolf. All three monsters are giant animals that go around from city to city destroying everything.

The game was successful that many years later, they are turning into a live action movie starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
