Whitney Houston‘s final autopsy report has been published and more sad and tragic details have emerged. While the death was ruled an accident, it was also revealed that the singer was found face down in the bathtub of her Los Angeles hotel room, with a “bloody purge” coming from her nose. Houston died on Feb. 11, 2012.

Additionally, a “spoon with a white crystal-like substance on it” was found in the hotel room, as was a white powder, which was later determined to be cocaine. The report also stated that “located on the south portion of the counter was a small spoon with a white crystal-like substance on it and a rolled up piece of white paper, along with other miscellaneous items.”

But that’s not all. The report also revealed that “located in the top drawer, in the north side of the counter were remnants of a white powdery substance, and a portable mirror on a base.” More white powder was found on the base of the mirror, according to TMZ.

The report also noted that Houston’s lengthy history of cocaine use was physically evident, but not just from the white stuff that was all over the room. The report noted “the perforation of posterior nasal septum,” which is a hole in the nose that is associated with snorting drugs. The singer also wore a wig that was tightly bound to her hair.

Houston died of accidental drowning, with heart disease and chronic cocaine abuse factoring into her passing. She had ingested somewhat of a fatal cocktail, as reports indicated that she used coke immediately before her death, while traces of marijuana, Xanax, Flexeril and Benadryl were found in her system.

While tragic, this news certainly gives her family and friends some clarity and closure.
