Yes…Vandalizing An Electrical Box Is A Crime
Silly suspects, childish vandalism is for confused kids that also steal from their parents and think their parents are only trying to hold them back. Yet, Amarillo Crime Stoppers looks for the suspect that took it up themselves to vandalize the electrical box at the 6700 block of NE 16th Ave in Amarillo, leaving the neighborhood without electricity.
The part about this incident that gets me is the suspect pulled away in his vehicle. Meaning, he deliberately pulled over, got out of his car, beat the crap out of an electric box and drove off.
He was either very upset with the world, or he was intentionally doing this in order to leave someone in the neighborhood without power, possibly even commit a robbery...but that's just speculation not a fact.
"On October 11th at approximately 2:00 PM a suspect vandalized an electrical box in the 6700 block of NE 16th Ave. During the incident, a power outage to the neighborhood was caused. The suspect, possibly a Hispanic male, was seen driving off in a dark blue late 90’s model GM make extended cab truck with dark wheels. The suspect may have been injured during the criminal event."
