You Know You Have a Favorite

It's OK, you don't have to say who. But you know this is a little true.

56% of parents say that their youngest child is their favorite. Is it because they are the cutest? Maybe because they are the baby of the bunch.

26% said that their oldest child is there favorite. Which makes sense if you think about it. They are older so you can do more fun things with them that the younger ones are still too small to do.

The poor middle child only got 18% of people to say that they are the favorite. They always seem to be the more spunky one of the bunch.

So why do parents pick a favorite? Well it could be anything I mention above. It could be that one child reminds them a lot of themselves. One kid might make the parent smile and laugh more. So that could be it to.

Grandparents weighed in too. They said most of the time the oldest grand kid is the favorite. Maybe because they were the first grand child.
