Are You Seeing More Cops In Amarillo? It’s The ‘Safe Shopper Project’

If you think you're seeing more police than normal on the streets, you ain't trippin', their has been an increase in officers on patrol.  It's called the Safe Shopper Project,and it's assigned through December 26th here in Amarillo.  Holiday shopping can be dangerous, in my case it's dangerous because I didn't pay a bill so I could buy gifts...

Anyways, additional officers will be assigned to patrol parking lots and other areas that may attract crooks, them ones looking for a chance to jack shoppers. The Holiday Patrol will also be visible on streets with heavy traffic volume, and will be alert for drunk drivers, speeding, or any other violation that could endanger the public or pretty much anything you can get pulled over for.  So watch your back my Jedi Knights!
