A Cat Named Hank Is Running For Senate In Virginia

Your stupidest news of the week comes from Hank the house cat, whom is campaigning for a seat in the senate as Senator Jim Webb gets ready to vacate his Virginia seat.  But do we really need more fat-cats in the senate?

Well apparently the cat is out of the bag here as the Huffington Post reports that Hank is a real cat and is really running for senate.

Led by campaign manager Matthew O'Leary, Hank has stopped chasing mice and started chasing men.

"He's still taking his daily naps and getting excited about cheese," O'Leary said. "He was a bit grumpy for his last televised interview, but that appeared to be because it was too close to dinnertime, so we're scheduling his appearances for midafternoon and he's doing well."

It's a real cat and a real stupid story that is really going on in our really crazy world.
