Amarillo Parks and Recreation Opening All Three Pools Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend is almost here!  If you are staying in town and have nothing to do, maybe you could go for a swim.  Amarillo Parks and Recreation gearing up to open the city pools.

For me, Memorial Day weekend means the kick off to summer!  School will be out and the temps are getting hotter.  If you love to hit the pool, you're in luck.  Amarillo Parks and Recreation will be opening the pools Memorial Day weekend, May 28th!  Thompson park, Southeast and Southwest will all be open.

All three parks offer something different and fun for the entire family.  Thompson pool has two amazing slides and a separate kiddie pool.  Southeast pool has the mushroom fountain and some diving boards.  Southwest pool also offers diving boards and a splash pad area.

Summer is here and a nice swim would be so nice to cool down from this scorching temperatures.  So mark your calendars for May 28th for a nice swim.
