Hundreds of WT students gathered on campus last night to honor and remember Shelbi McClure, a 21 year old cheerleader that died early Tuesday morning after being struck by a train.

Such sad news for Amarillo & Canyon residents that knew, loved and remember her as being full of life, a happy girl and someone who could make your day with her smile and just saying "hi".

At dorm rooms across the campus, posted on the vast majority of the doors, you can see signs that honor Shelbi, reading rest in peace and we love you Shelbi.

Just watching the video brings a tear to my eye, as I see the pain in the faces and hear it in the voices of the students.

Shelbi McClure, will always be remembered as a vibrant girl who's memory will live on.

Rest In Piece.
