I read an interesting quote about custom bicycles. The quote compared them to suits. Sure you can get a decent one off the rack, but one made just for you gets noticed across the room. I never thought about the difference in buying a bicycle made to fit me specifically.

The websites are impressive. The detailed descriptions about the process, the craft, and how these bikes all come together is mind blowing.

There are plenty of photo galleries that show the process of a bike frame being built, that fits specifically what the rider is going to need. I imagine it has to be a very comfortable ride.

Be aware though, a custom bicycle is going to set you back. I've seen prices range from $750 to over $3,000 and beyond.
