This Is Great News For Canyon, TX; New Playground Coming In Oct

This has been a long time coming for the city of Canyon, TX. A new playground is coming to the city, and it's in honor of someone who was loved by the community.

A ground breaking ceremony will be held in October for the Kylie Hiner Memorial Playground.

A Playground Built For Everyone To Enjoy

The Kylie Hiner Memorial Playground is impressive. There's a good variety of equipment for kids to play on, and there's plenty of shaded areas for parents to congregate under.

The best part about the equipment is accessibility. According to their website, the equipment will even be accessible by wheelchair.

There will be things for all interests and skill levels. That includes the zipline style equipment that has become really popular at playgrounds.

It will be located in Conner Park, across from CAP.

It's A Story Of A Community Coming Together To Honor One Of Their Own

The community came together to make this a reality. It took two years to get the funds raised, but they did it. Not only did they get the needed funds, they actually exceeded their goal.

The ground breaking ceremony for the Kylie Hiner Memorial Playground will be held on Oct 20, 2022. It's a Thursday. The ceremony will be held at 11 AM.
