The last thing we want is our city to be a mess. We take pride. Or at least we should in how we represent our city. It's not always fun but we clean up the debris we see that lands in our yard. That is the first step.

If everyone keeps their own area clean then that is a major battle we have won. There are, of course, more to our cities than personal property. What about when we are out and about? Should we pick up that trash we see?

I am sure a lot of people think, they have someone to do that. Sometimes they do. Does it hurt to bend over and pick up a something and dispose of it properly? Probably not. So Borger is trying to get things done but also make some fun out of it.

A cleaning party. A Trash Bash. I mean the cooler it sounds the better right? Let's make it fun. This way we get the end results we want. Having less trash on the street is a big relief for everyone.

If it is picked up it will not end up in your yard. You can look at it as paying it forward, to yourself.

So if you can make it fun. Make it a team event. Make it a competition. I mean we love competing. Throw in some fun categories. I want to know what the most unusual trash found in Borger. That could be a lot of fun.

So help clean up Borger. Make that difference and be proud of the city you live in. Having the trash picked up will be a great way to start.
