Construction Underway for New Stand Out Dining Experience in Amarillo
Oh, the things you notice as you drive around Amarillo. Some have been here for a while, like the quirky diamond-shaped signs near certain homes. Some things are changing around town.
There are shopping centers going up all over our city. It seems those centers are becoming the shopping go-tos for our residents. While the mall remains, shopping centers appear to be the preferred choice.
You park and walk your way through all of the shops that they have to offer. You can look for clothes, eat a meal, grab a drink, or a snack; there is something for everyone.

One such shopping center in Amarillo is growing with the addition of a new place to eat. Wolflin Village is gaining a new Mediterranean-style restaurant. Our family is looking forward to it and hoping it is comparable to Cava in the Dallas area; only time will tell.
Spotlight on the New Mediterranean Restaurant
Construction is underway in the corner area adjacent to Nothing Bundt Cakes. I am in that area a lot and have been watching as the work started and every day since. The one thing I have noticed about this new business coming to Wolflin Village is the color of the building.
A Bold Architectural Choice
You wouldn't think that the color would be that big of a thing except I asked a coworker if she noticed when she drove by. She exclaimed, "Yes, it's white." What is strange about them painting the building white is the fact that not too long ago, Wolflin Village gave all of their buildings a face-lift.
They painted all the buildings a uniform brownish color. They all looked to be uniformed until this paint job happened. They painted not just the trim but also the bricks entirely white. So, it definitely stands out even before they put up any signage.
Maybe it's just primer, but looking at their location, that is already in Lubbock, their building looks like it would fit right in at Wolflin Village, so it makes no sense. We will just have to wait and see the final outcome.
I can't wait to see how the food is going to stand out, but if you have driven by, you definitely have noticed the building certainly does.
