Your Guide to the Amarillo Area 2025 Farmers Markets

Summer has finally made its way to the Amarillo area and people start are ready to get out and about, to shop for fresh food and vegetables, along with baked goods and crafts.  The best place to find all of that is at a farmers market.

Since most of our local farmers markets close for winter and open in the summer, the anticipation is real.

When Do the Farmers Markets Open in the Amarillo Area?

Just to prepare you, most of the Farmers Markets will open in summertime, however, you might be able to catch a market or two leading up to being back every weekend.

One of the biggest farmers markets in the area is the Canyon Farmers Market.

Canyon Farmers Market Opening Dates

The Canyon Farmers Market will officially open on June 7th and run through September 27th.  The market is usually open from 8 am - 12 n.  The market vendors always have great products, including fruits and vegetables, baked goods, plants, meats, crafts, t-shirts, and much more.  Plus, they always have a row of food trucks serving up delicious breakfast, coffee, and other fare.

* New * River Falls Market

The River Falls Market is open for the season and is located at 4600 FM 1151.  They are open Saturdays, 9 am - 2 pm.  The market has over 20 vendors with one-of-a-kind items and more.  Plus, they have an area where you can pet goats!

* New * Farmers Market at The Country Corner

The Farmers Market at the Country Corner is located at 2201 E FM 1151.  They are open Thursdays at 5 pm until dark, and Saturdays 9 am - 1 pm, through November 1st.

Sunset Marketown at Arts in the Sunset

Arts in the Sunset opened their Sunset Marketown in 2024. Sunset Marketown will open for the 2025 season on Saturday, June 7th, and will be open each Saturday from 8 am - 12 pm through September 20th.

Golden Spread Farmers Market

This farmers market runs from July 1st to the first frost and is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.  They usually pair up with the Sunset Marketown on Saturday mornings.  They are located in the parking lot of Arts in the Sunset 3601 Plains Blvd.

Farmer's and Makers Market - Borger, Texas

The Borger Market will be on the 2nd Saturday of each month, starting June 14th and 28th, July 12th and 26th, and August 9th and 23rd.  The event lasts from 6 pm - 9 pm, except June 28th, which will be from 10 am -2 pm.

The Pampa Farmers Market

The Pampa Market hasn't posted their 2025 dates yet, but we will update when they post for the season.
