Which Amarillo Businesses Have Already Expanded to Lubbock?
This gem will join other Amarillo-born businesses that have expanded into Lubbock. Other Amarillo businesses that have franchised in Lubbock include The Ruffled Cup, Toot'n Totum, and Amarillo National Bank, just to name a few.
The latest business to venture south on I-27 to the Hub City is Amarillo's own Yellow City Grind.
When did Yellow City Grind open in Amarillo?
Yellow City Grind opened in Amarillo in September 2022, introducing a fresh new taste of coffee to the city. They are one of the few places to offer coffee flights, giving visitors the chance to try multiple types of coffee.

They are no stranger to trying out unique flavors like the Churro Ice Cream Frappe, the Dubai Chocolate Oat Milk Matcha, and the Cadillac Tea. Yellow City Grind creates new and exciting flavors, focusing on the area they are in, so Lubbock will probably experience a Red Raider Drink or a Buddy Holly twist, maybe even a Peggy Sue.
Where is Yellow City Grind opening in Lubbock?
Yellow City Grind just celebrated its 3rd anniversary and is now moving into Lubbock. Their Lubbock location will be located in the former ReJavaNate Coffee Bar, located next to Quarter Four at 6524 Slide Rd. Fans are hoping for an amazing mural on the side of the Lubbock building, similar to Amarillo's artwork by Emily Elliot.
