Local Artist Adair Lion Makes Front Page Of L.A. Times

A fellow Amarillian has put us on the map once again.  Local artist Adair Lion has made front page of the L.A. Times.

I'm sure you've heard a song or two from Adair Lion.  His recent hits are 'BAMF' and 'Radio,' but he is most famous for his hit song, 'Ben.' The song says 'Gay is ok.'

Well, that song brought the artist national attention and it isn't stopping.  On Saturday morning people reading the L.A. Times will see an article titled ' For Hip-hop and gay rights, a transformative moment.'

The article talks about the singer growing up in the 'bible belt' and how there is nothing wrong with being gay, or "Gay is Ok."

Adair Lion has really left his mark in the hip-hop/rap community.  More and more rappers are getting behind the LGBT community and showing their support.
