News Channel 7 reports that a MV-22 Osprey made an emergency landing in the southwest area of Amarillo today due to a "non-emergency maintenance problem".

The emergency landing was made around the Helium and Hollywood Rd. intersection, so if you saw something crazy going on over there earlier today, rest assured it's not UFO's taking over Amarillo.

News Channel 7 Reports:

"The pilots elected to land the aircraft as a precaution due to a suspected non-emergency maintenance problem which is undetermined at this time," said Schroeder.

I guess it's a good thing Bell Helicopter is here, since they are the ones that manufacture the Osprey, it's like mobile repair service, or something like that.  I have no idea what I'm talking about actually.
