New Amarillo Playground Is Designed To Offer Something Unique

An organization called Southwest AMBUCS opened up a new playground and splash pad at Medi Park over the weekend.

AMBUCS is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping people with disabilities be mobile. The new playground and splash pad that is now open at Medi Park is not just open to the public, but it's also designed  to be fun and therapeutic for kids with special needs. AMBUCS park was made to have accessible ramps, slides, swings, and play areas for children with varying degrees of disabilities.

The grand opening was last Saturday and many people came out to see this new and beautiful playground and splash pad. It's hours of operation for the splash pad are Monday through Friday from 11am to 8pm. Thanks to all the businesses for coming together and giving special need kids a place to have fun and meet new friends!
