Amarillo homicide

A criminal complaint filed in February allege that Rafael Munoz, 35, is responsible for the beating death of an elderly man

The juvenile has been charged with murder and manslaughter in connection with a March 2022 shooting at an apartment complex on Bell street.

At the time of this publishing, the tentative homicide count for Amarillo in 2022 toppled the record high of 27 homicides seen in 2021.

Another homicide occurred in Amarillo near I-40 and Lakeside.

The Amarillo Police Department was called out to a home earlier today.

Another weekend another murder. Or, I should say another day another murder in Amarillo.

I would like to say Amarillo is a safe city, but with every crime, I begin to wonder. As days go by the murder count increases.

This is such a sad story in so many disturbing ways for the victims involved.
