When this topic got brought up I thought "what kind of backwoods place are we talking about?" I guess I never thought about it. Now I am being forced to ponder. It got me thinking about my own backyard.

Move over Vegas and Lake Mead, let Amarillo and Lawrence Lake handle this.

Amarillo Special Crimes Unit is investigating a death that comes across as very suspicious.  A deceased man was found in a drainage culvert at the 2100 block of I-40E.  There is no real indication that this was a homicide, but the suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death has brought Special Crimes in to assist the investigation.

Amarillo Police report that the body of a dead female found in a room at Luxury Inn And Suites in Amarillo was the result of foul play.  The man who reportedly found the dead body and called in to police was the same man arrested for murder.

After LAPD police officer Christopher Dorner died, some photos where taken of his mangled body.  The photos are gruesome to say the least.  Even worse, there's some butt head out there trying to make money of photos of a dead police officer!  Why can't some people just let a person Rest In Peace?
