It is always a sad thing to see someone hungry, especially kids.  This Saturday, May 14th,  you can help by donating can goods in the national 'Stamp Out Hunger' drive.  The post office has been doing this for over 20 years and this year you can help!

One in five families in the Panhandle suffer from hunger.  The High Plains Food Bank needs your help, they are in need of canned vegetables.

The High Plains Food Bank will host a Singles' Happy Hour and Volunteer Night for those of you who might be seeking that special someone.

This Saturday, March 28th is the annual Scouting for Food.  Boy Scout Troops throughout Amarillo will be picking up non-perishable food items from your doorstep or mailbox this Saturday.

Texas celebrates Independence Day Saturday, March 2nd and Rudy's Bar-b-q is celebrating with breakfast.  This Saturday they are marking down their egg and brisket tacos and doing a good deed with the money.
