I remember this place all too well. It was one of those fast, go-to places when I was pregnant with my daughter. Oh, and it was good. The mashed potatoes, the dinner rolls. Oh and I always had either the chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken.

For about five or six months of the year you can find me and one of my friends doing a lot of walking around Amarillo. You will know it is us because we are wearing bright pink.

I think I have finally experienced euphoria. That was the morning I was driving to work and realized they opened up the ramp to enter I40 from Georgia. I mean that morning is what dreams are made of. The end of some long road construction

I was busy getting some work done at my computer when I heard a ding come through Facebook messenger. It was not from someone on my friends list so I had to accept the message. I did because I recognized the name.

I have lived in Amarillo for a big portion of my life. I know how construction can be. It seems it is never over. It’s part of life that we jus have to deal with. Once it is done then in a certain area it gets better but while it is going on it can seem just the longest.

Nothing is worse than waking up on the wrong side of the bed. That just starts your day off in the worst way possible. Those are the mornings that drivers on I40 seem to cut you off. You can't handle it. You just want to get to your job Downtown as soon and as with as little drama as possible.

The Texas Department of Transportation will be closing closing down the connector on the interchange from I-40 to US 87 starting tonight

Over $575,000 in marijuana and hashish was seized on I-40 by Texas DPS.  That's a lot of giggle weed!  Imagine all the munchies that shall go wanting.  All the soda cans left unopened, all the cookies that won't be eaten.  A tragedy...

Amarillo Special Crimes Unit is investigating a death that comes across as very suspicious.  A deceased man was found in a drainage culvert at the 2100 block of I-40E.  There is no real indication that this was a homicide, but the suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death has brought Special Crimes in to assist the investigation.

Close to $40,000 in giggle weed was seized by Texas DPS officers on Thursday afternoon.  The bust was made on I40 in Potter County, near Amarillo.  That's roughly 70 pounds of the Cannabis!  How ironic, I watched We're The Millers last night!

If you had to take a trip in your vehicle this afternoon in Amarillo, you no doubt saw traffic on I40 just trickling down the highway.  A horrible accident took place and a woman was badly injured as well.  The driver and his truck that caused the entire accident left the scene without any remorse, Amarillo police officers seek help in identifying the driver of the red truck in this hit and run.
