No matter where you are traveling in Amarillo this week, you will probably be slowed down at some point day or night due to various lane closures all over the city. From striping operations to mowing to paving, your commutes may be slowed. Here's the areas you want to watch out for as you are driving.

As the ongoing construction continues so do your traffic woes. This week it seems a lot of work will be happening on Wednesday in various locations. Here's this week's construction update and lane closures.

Just when you thought it was safe to travel I-40 and Bell, think again, it will be a bit chaotic this week as they put the finishing touches on the construction project. If you don't want to be caught in a long line of traffic, you might want to find an alternate route this week. Here's your lane closures and construction update.

A few minor things will slow you down this week with TxDOT, however the City of Amarillo will start a new project on South Western and Bell that will slow you down until September.

Since it's a holiday week, looks like there will not be much addition to the current construction going on this week.

As the Bell/I-40 Bridge project slowly comes to an end, if you use this for your commutes, be prepared to be slowed all week long as they put the finishing touches on the new bridge.
