September 11th

Let’s go back to September 11th in the year 1996. This is when this all started for me and my connection to this day. I was 9 months pregnant. I was due in 2 days. The 13th. It would have been on a Friday. I couldn’t have a Friday the 13th baby. So when I went into labor 2 days early I was so happy.

Even though this year's local 9/11 memorial ceremony won't be open to the public, there is still ways you can be in attendance.

This Sunday marks the 15th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks.  Some of the bravest men and women that day were the first responders.  When others were running away from the disaster the first responders were running towards it.  We found out just how strong our country was on that day, but we also realized the importance of our first responders.

Remembering that horrific day when 19 terrorists hijacked 4 passenger jets and intentionally piloted those planes into the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon building isn't easy, but forsake not what history teaches us.  Remember those who died, and those who selflessly put their lives on the line in an effort to save as many as possible.  The fact is, the September 11th attacks are the Vi
