Today a base-jumper named Felix Baumgartner attempted a record-breaking high altitude jump from the place where the Earth's atmosphere ends and space begins.

This makes me want to have children just so I can buy a van and nobody thinks I'm some weird-o kidnapper/rapist.  This van is freaking awesome!  It's 3 wheeled, all electric and the genius Swiss inventors designed it to open up like a Swiss Army Knife!

Last week, Red Bull-sponsored astronaut Felix Baumgartner jumped out of a space capsule 13 miles above the earth over Roswell, New Mexico and lived.

Last month Virgin Galactic announced it would begin offering commercial space flights later this year.

This space shuttle training air craft has one last mission from NASA, to land at the Amarillo Texas Air & Space museum where it will spend it's days being adored by children on field-trips and maybe a few other people.

I was reading that NASA is giving it's retired space shuttles to museums.  21 museums around the country put in bids and Houston, where mission control is located, didn't get one?
