I'm going to start this off by saying I am a HUGE Atlanta Braves fan. I am sorry Astros fans this is just the way it is. It has been since the early nineties thanks to TBS covering pretty much all of their games.

It's exciting to have football back. Whether you are following high school, college or the NFL it is that time of year that there is always a game. Heading out to an area high school game you can be watching some future NFL heroes.

Sometimes a parade can be boring, but not the Tascosa High Homecoming Parade!

I have been waiting for this news since last season. I am a huge Braves fan and been watching as they called up Amarillo's Tucker Davidson earlier this season. I kept waiting to see when he would get his second career Major League Baseball start.

I saw earlier this year that the Atlanta Braves signed Tucker Davidson from Tascosa High School. Then, of course, COVID hit so I had no idea if he would even get a season.

A dip in enrollment coming for the 2020-2021 school year will move Tascosa down from a UIL Class 6A to a Class 5A school.

Snack Pak 4 Kids is an amazing program that helps feed kids when they are not in school.  And now, they are influencing schools and communities across the country.

This is AWESOME and inspirational!  Not a day goes by that I don't learn a lesson that's taught by someone much younger than I am.  Students at Tascosa High School have began "Snack Shack" to help feed fellow students at the high school that need help.

Amarillo's 2 biggest schools are taking on new districts per the University Interscholastic League.  Dropping Amarillo High School into the 4A district, and bumping Tascosa High up into the 5A district.
