A state lawmaker wants to put an end to Texas cities banning plastic bags. State Representative Drew Springer has filed a bill that would make all plastic bag bans invalid. The Republican says such bans advance a "misguided nanny-state agenda." Advocates say the ban reduces litter and helps the environment.
Funny, never heard of a "misguided nanny-state agenda", what does that even mean? Well moving on, what do you think?
Personally, I can see where advocates of the ban are coming from! This ban reduces litter and helps mother Earth so if there's a way to make it possible to use less of these plastic bags, why wouldn't we want to do that? Am I crazy, aren't we trying to save the planet or something like that?
So what do you think? I totally agree with the ban, but maybe you think it's ridiculous?
