Uh-Oh, The Government Is About To Shutdown, Most Likely

The Government is shutting down?  Wait like the entire Government?  I don't get it, hold on let me read something......okay now I got it.  Wait hold on these guys say it better then I can:

Washington (CNN) -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid indicated Thursday that there will likely be a government shutdown at the end of the week -- an outcome the Nevada Democrat blamed wholly on his Republican colleagues.

"It looks like it's headed in that direction," Reid said on the Senate floor when discussing the possibility of a shutdown. "The numbers are basically there, but I am not as nearly as optimistic -- and that's an understatement -- as I was" after a meeting Wednesday night with President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, at the White House.

Boehner hahahahaha!  What a name!  Ehem okay moving on...if there is a shut down an estimated 800,000 govt. workers will be asked to stay home.  Among other things, the Internal Revenue Service will stop processing paper tax returns, the Small Business Administration will stop making loans and federal home loan guarantees will be put on hold.  Military troops will be paid through Friday, but checks stop after that.  How long is this shut down going to last?  In any case, I hope it proves how useless some peoples jobs are.  We have people collecting pay checks that really shouldn't be.  It upsets me that our country has come to this but hey, to make an omelet, you gotta break a few eggs!
