So lately I have noticed that a lot of comedians are being blasted for some of their jokes.  Are they really being insensitive or are people taking it to hard?

In my opinion, people need to back off.  Making jokes and getting reactions out of people is the main job of a comedian.  Lets take Gilbert Gottfried; he was fired from his AFLAC job because of a joke he made about the Japanese Tsunami.  Ok maybe it was a little rough, but all of his jokes are that way.

The latest is George Lopez.  I think he is really funny, but Kirstie Alley doesn't.  In case you missed it, he basically called her a pig.  He later apologized after the public scrutinized his bit.  He also called Wendy Williams a man, but that didn't seem to bother anyone.

Did he do anything wrong?  Nope!!  It is his job to say stuff like this.  So what is the deal?  Why are people getting so upset by something these comedians have done forever???  The answer I don't know.

I think that all these comedians need to be left alone to do their job.  What do you think???
