This is going to be another hot summer. This group of local residents want to make sure no dog is left tied to one place.

The Texas Panhandle Pups Unchained group is  building fenced yards for dogs living a life chained/tethered. They also provide them with a warm doghouse, bed, toys, treats, vet care and lots of love!

With the help and support from Fences for Fido in Portland, Oregon they freed their first dog BRUCE in Feb 2017, along with another dog, Rocky.

Thanks to donations and volunteers here in Amarillo they continue to "unchain" dogs in the Texas Panhandle and won't stop till all are living free in a yard of their own!
