It seems that we just can't get away from the Kardashians.  Today's story is that they are using 'Slave Labor' to produce all of their different lines of products.  So is it true?

Earlier today I read a report that said the Kardashians were being investigated by the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights for turning their heads to the working conditions in the factories that create all of their products.  Children as young as 16 working in factories that reek like sewage, have temps up to  100 degrees and hotter, and that these workers only get $1 an hour while the Kardashians are raking in millions.

Momager Kris Jenner quickly responded saying that she has not been to the factories in China, but as far as she knows everything is up to par.

So is the K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection, and ShoeDazzle all tainted by horrible working conditions?  According to Robert Shapiro, ex-lawyer turned entrepreneur, no.  As a matter of fact everyone from ShoeDazzle claims that the factories are frequently inspected.

Well the allegations continue to unravel.  According to Charles Kernaghan, executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, told TMZ that he specifically told Star Magazine, "It was a wise idea to wait on the article," because he had no proof that the specific factories the Kardashians use violated child labor standards or human rights.

So as funny as it would be to crush the Kardashian empire, it seems they are doing everything right.  Which, in the end, is a good thing because nobody should have to work in these kinds of conditions.
