A 16 year old Amarillo girl is safe after a very near miss with a would be kid-napper!

Amarillo Police have arrested 44 year old, Antonio Veloz Flores, for attempting to kid-nap a 16 year old girl, but the list goes on!  He will also be charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance at a correctional facility and unlawful restraint of a child under 17.  That's one hell of a track record he scored himself all in 1 night!

Pro New 7 reports on the incident:

At about 7:30 p.m., on Monday, police said they were called to the 3200 block of North Hill on a possible attempted kidnapping. A 16-year-old girl told police a man tried to force her into his vehicle.

She told police she was walking to friend's house when she noticed a man inside a pickup following her near the intersection of Mesa Verde and North Hill. She said the driver offered her money on several occasions as he was trying to get her to go inside his vehicle.

Well, he'll meet good ol' Bubba in the prison, where Bubba will no doubt restrain him and give him a human booster shot.  STAY AWAY FROM STRANGERS KIDS!
