When I think of an artist teaming up with Marilyn Manson on a song, Johnny Depp is not the one I picture.  But it's true.  The two are hitting the recording studio for a duet.

The two actually have a history.  I'm not sure how good of friends they are, but they go back.  In 2001, Manson's song "The Nobodies" was featured on the soundtrack to Depp's film From Hell.  And then in 2006, Depp invited Manson as his date to the 2006 premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

So what song are the two going to tackle?  How about Carly Simon's "You're So Vain."  It fits both of them, in my opinion.  They like to keep their audience on their toes.

The song will be on Manson's latest album, Born Villain, which will hit stores in May.  I can't wait to hear the final product.
